The Craylands School Severe Weather

Severe Weather: Important Information

This page gives you information about what you should do in the event of bad weather.

At The Craylands School, the safety and well-being of our pupils and staff are our top priorities. While we always aim to keep the school open, severe weather conditions can sometimes make this impossible. If our staff are unable to safely travel to school due to bad weather, we may need to close the school for the day.

Keeping Safe and Prepared

During severe weather, it’s important to prioritise safety for everyone. Make sure children are dressed warmly and appropriately for the conditions. If the school is closed, please ensure that your child stays safe indoors or is supervised if they are outside. Additionally, having a plan in place for unexpected school closures will help you manage the day more effectively.

We appreciate your support and understanding during these times. By staying informed and prepared, we can ensure the safety and well-being of our students, staff and families.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us navigate severe weather situations.
